The installation sequence of compressed air filter mainly follows the following steps and principles:
Cleaning: Before installing the filter, make sure that the compressed air pipes and valves connected to the filter inlet and outlet are clean.
Direction: Install correctly according to the inlet and outlet instructions or the direction indicated by the arrow, keep the filter inlet and outlet horizontal, and the drain port at the bottom to leave space for maintenance and filter element replacement.
Location: The filter should be installed in a ventilated and cool place, as close to the gas point as possible to reduce pressure loss.
Suspension and support: Single filters are generally installed in a suspended manner, and large filters should be installed on brackets.
Automatic drainer: An automatic drainer should be installed at the bottom of the filter to discharge condensate at any time.
Monitoring equipment: A differential pressure display or alarm device should be connected between the inlet and outlet to monitor the pressure drop of the filter element.
Installation sequence: Follow the principle of coarse first and fine later. The main line filter is installed in the main line of the gas source treatment, and the branch line filter is installed near the gas point. There should be a pre-filter in front of the precision and high-efficiency filter to achieve the best performance and extend the service life of the filter element.
Replace the filter element: Replace the filter element regularly and record the replacement time. It is recommended that the working time should not exceed 8,000 hours. When replacing the filter element, use special tools and ensure the correct installation of the new filter element.
Electronic drain valve: Filters of different grades can be equipped with electronic drain valves or manual valves as needed.
Following the above steps and principles can ensure the correct installation and use of compressed air filters, thereby ensuring the quality of compressed air and the stable operation of the system.
