1. Drying process

When the compressed air generated by the air compressor enters the dryer through the intake pipe, the air is fully in contact with the desiccant in the tank. Desiccant adsorbs water vapor molecules in the air onto its surface by physical adsorption. This process is based on the desiccant material's porous structure and high specific surface area properties, allowing water vapor molecules to accumulate on its surface and be fixed.

After the desiccant treatment of dry compressed air, its dew point temperature is significantly reduced, so as to achieve the purpose of removing water. The dried air is discharged from the outlet pipe and can be used in industrial production processes with high air quality requirements, such as pneumatic tool operation and precision instrument gas.

 

2. Temperature and pressure control principle

The equipment has strict control over parameters such as intake air temperature, working temperature and ambient temperature. For the intake air temperature, when the compressed air temperature is too high, it may affect the adsorption performance of the desiccant and the overall performance of the equipment. Therefore, the equipment can be equipped with a booster heater and other devices to regulate the intake air temperature to keep it within a suitable range.

 

In terms of pressure control, the equipment is most efficient when operating at rated working pressure. When the pressure exceeds the maximum working pressure, it may cause damage to components such as tanks. Equipment through the internal pressure regulation mechanism, such as safety valves and other devices, to ensure that the pressure is always within the safe range. When the pressure is too high, the safety valve will automatically open to release part of the air to reduce the pressure.
