Industrial Compressed Air Treatment
A Key Step Towards Efficiency and Reliability

Nowadays compressed air serves as a core power source for countless processes. However, air directly from compressors often contains moisture, oil, and particulate contaminants. If left untreated, these impurities can cause equipment corrosion, product defects, and production downtime, directly threatening efficiency and product quality. Thus, air filtration and drying are not optional but fundamental to ensuring system stability.
Providing clean, dry, compressed air is especially important in applications where moisture condenses in pipelines, leading to rust and microbial growth, and where particles abrade precision tools, increasing maintenance costs. With efficient drying systems, businesses can extend equipment lifespan, meet stringent international standards (e.g., ISO 8573-1), and pave the way for sustainable development.

Transforming Air Humidity into a Business Advantage

Energy Savings & Cost Reduction

Refrigerated dryers achieve a stable Pressure Dew

Point (PDP) (e.g., +3°C) through efficient refrigeration cycles and heat exchange technology. Their exceptional energy-efficient design translates directly into lower operating costs.

Energy Savings & Cost Reduction

Ensuring Superior Quality & Environmental Responsibility

Air quality directly impacts the quality of the final product. Whether the air contacts the product

directly (e.g., in food and pharmaceutical packaging) or serves as a control force, dry and clean air is the cornerstone of high-quality manufacturing.

Enhanced System Reliability & Production Efficiency

Choosing a high-quality refrigerated dryer is a critical investment in production continuity. They can guaranteed smooth production, extended equipment lifespan, simplified installation & maintenance.

How does a Refrigeration Dryer work?

A refrigerated air dryer operates on the principles of thermodynamics and heat exchange to remove moisture from compressed air. Its workflow can be broken down into two main, interconnected circuits:
the Air Circuit and the Refrigerant Circuit.

Air Circuit

1. Pre-cooler: The air-to-air heat exchanger is a pre-cooler. It pre-cools the hot, saturated, incoming air by transferring heat to cold air that is returning from the water separator.

2. Evaporator: Air is cooled down to the required dew point by transferring heat to theevaporating refrigerant.

3. Water Separator: The droplet separation occurs in a stainless steel wire mesh removing any remaining droplets suspended in the air flow.

Refrigerant Circuit

4. Compression: The compressor increases the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant, turning it into a hot, high-pressure gas
5. Condensation: Superheated gas flows into the condenser (which can be air-cooled by a fan or water-cooled). Here, the refrigerant releases
its heat to the surrounding environment (air or water) and condenses into a high-pressure liquid.
6. Expansion: The high-pressure liquid refrigerant passes through an
expansion valve (or capillary tube). This device creates a pressure drop, causing the refrigerant to rapidly cool and partially evaporate as it enters the evaporator as a low-pressure, cold liquid-gas mixture.
7. Evaporation: Cold refrigerant absorbs heat from the warm compressed air flowing on the other side and returns to the compressor to start the process again.

Capillary

• In refrigeration systems equipped with multiple energy regulation devices, instability and self-interference often occur. The capillary, however, provides stable flow control and, when used in combination with a hot gas by-pass valve, can precisely adapt to load variations while stabilizing the dew point.

Scroll compressor

• Compliant scroll compressors offering energy savings of up to 20% compared to other systems . Totally resistant to liquid

refrigerant returns and with 50% fewer moving parts than other models, these compressors are extremely reliable and almost indestructible. Low vibration levels also serve to prolong their refrigeration circuit life .

Modular design

• Flexible combination of several heat exchangers

• Benefits from a universal design that integrates air-cooled and water-cooled systems within a unified basis. This significantly accelerates product delivery.

Electronic Drainer

• Fan individual electronic drain valve is installed at the bottom of each heat exchanger to ensure reliable condensate discharge and maintain stable equipment dew point.

• All drainage points are consolidated along the equipment periphery for convenient on-site piping connection and operation.
