Description
Technical Parameters

Fine compressed air filters have excellent filtration accuracy, filtering out tiny particles as small as 0.01 microns. Ensure the production of extremely clean compressed air to protect the integrity of sensitive industry processes such as pharmaceuticals and electronics. With a high dirt holding capacity, the frequency of filter replacement and maintenance is reduced, saving costs and downtime.

Working principle

1. Inertial separation: When compressed air enters the filter separator, the flow direction suddenly changes. Because the inertia of liquid water droplets and solid particles is larger than that of gas, they cannot change direction as quickly as air, so that they hit the baffle or special structure inside the separator, separate from the air flow, and rely on gravity to flow down to the bottom of the separator.

2. Filtration: The air that has been preliminarily separated by inertia will pass through the filter element made of fibers, filters and other materials. These filters have tiny pores, which can block solid particles of different sizes and the remaining liquid water droplets, so that the air is further purified. For example, some high-efficiency filters can filter out micron or even sub-micron particles.

3. Adsorption: Some filter separators will also use adsorption materials (such as activated carbon, etc.) to adsorb residual oil vapor, odor and some gaseous pollutants in the compressed air. Activated carbon has a rich pore structure and a large specific surface area that enables it to absorb these impurities and ultimately output clean, dry compressed air.

FAQ

1. How often does the filter separator need to be maintained?
The maintenance period depends on the frequency of use, air quality, etc. It is generally recommended to check every 1-3 months, if it is found that the pressure difference is too large and the quality of the output gas is decreased, it should be maintained in time, such as cleaning or replacing the filter element.

2. What is the effect of blocking the filter element?
The compressed air flow and pressure decrease, affecting the normal operation of the device. Long-term clogging may also make the internal pressure of the filter too high, damage the equipment, and may cause insufficiently filtered air to flow out, affecting the quality of the gas used.

3. How to solve the air leakage in the equipment?
Check whether the seals at each connection part are damaged or loose. If yes, replace the seals or tighten the connecting parts. If the pipe is damaged, repair or replace the pipe in time.

4. How to choose the right filter separator according to the actual needs?
It is necessary to consider the air flow, working pressure, required filtration accuracy, air quality requirements, etc. For example, the electronics manufacturing industry has high requirements for filtration accuracy, and high-precision products should be selected; In high-flow gas supply scenarios, select a model that can adapt to the corresponding flow.

5. What are the precautions for installing a filter separator?
Install in a dry, well-ventilated place with sufficient operating space. The import and export direction can not be reversed, the pipe connection should be carried out according to the instructions, and fixed to prevent vibration displacement during operation.
